The webinar, A Force for Space: Artificial Intelligence was organized in foresight with how humans’ curiosity quest for space can be solved using AI. The event was graced by the presence of Prof. A Q Ansari – IEEE Delhi SAC Chair, Dr.Rajveer Singh Shekhavat – Director SCIT, Manipal University Jaipur along with Dr. Arun Kumar Poonia – Assistant Professor &Assistant Director, Directorate of Students’ Welfare and Dr. Mahesh Jangid– Assistant Professor & Faculty Mentor IEEE SB MUJ.

The online event received more than 600 registrations from across India. The webinar was held on Webinar Ninjas platform which saw an audience of more than 500 people. This included many notable professors, professionals and students from various fields and colleges.

The focus of the event was on how Artificial Intelligence has transformed space exploration and other major impacts of it. The speaker, Mr. ShreyanshDaftry also spoke of his journey to NASA and how he created opportunities for himself. Mr. Shreyansh gave a brief hindsight of his interests in robotics and how he incorporated computer science into it. He also gave an in-depth knowledge of AI can work in drones and rovers on Moon and Mars. Furthermore, he spoke of how AI can help rockets and robots reach distant planets and the future of space exploration and robotics.

The participants were able to interact with the speaker and ask questions in the field of AI, robotics and even career path. The event turned out to be a great success andthe participants were grateful to Mr. ShreyanshDaftry for sharing his knowledge and time.
